This file is in Standard MIDI (Type 1) format. Author's Notes: From a single seed the undergrowth spreads as time passes. Branches thrust above the grass and outward from the young trunk. Roots worm ever deeper into the soil. New seeds sprout new brush that joins to the ever accumulating whole. Like the undergrowth, this composition begins from a single seed; a sequence of eight notes. In time (marked out by the repetitive pattern played by the wood block), the music swells upwards and outwards, while its roots dig intricately deeper. In the space of slightly over two minutes, what was eight notes has grown into a full composition. Note: This sequence can be used with non-GM synths by loading it into a sequencer and re-assigning the Program Change and MIDI Channel data to meet the requirements of your equipment. lmc
